Hello and welcome back to all of our returning swimmers and a BIG welcome to all of our new swimmers and families. The High River Otters board as well as all of our coaches are very excited about this up and coming 2010 swim season. CLUB EXPECTATIONS ~ for swimmers and parents
Program start date: Monday, May 3 2010 - 4:00pm to 6:00pm
Maximum swimmer for 2010: Pups - 15 (age 4-6) / Otters - 65 (ages 7 and up) as of May 1
NEW OTTERS(any age): 1 DAYGroup evaluations: PUPS: Sunday May 2 9:30am - 10:30am OTTERS: May 2 11:00am - 12:00
NEW OTTERS TRIAL PERIOD: Monday, May 3 - Friday, May 10 (one week)
-Pups: required to swim one width unassisted
-Otter: required to swim one length unassisted
NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED TO ANY PUP OR OTTER AFTER MAY 15, 2010 / 5:00 PM
Equipment: team suit and goggles mandatory at swim meets. Goggles and practice suit for practices.
SWIMMER COMMITMENT/EXPECTATIONS:
- Sign and follow the behaviour expectations of the HR Otters Swim Club
-Bring appropriate gear for every practice, dry land training session and swim meet.
-Participate in 2 swim meets during May 1 - mid August season. (otters only-not pups)
PARENT COMMITMENT/EXPECTATIONS
-Work 2 shifts at the HR Otters swim meet scheduled for June 12, 2010
-Work any fundraising events
-Sign and support the behaviour policy of the Otter Program
-Pups may be moved up to the Otter program based on ability. Fee difference would be required.
